Legal Advisor — Compliance & Governance

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing compliance and governance policies and procedures.
• Legal advice on regulatory and licensing matters.
• Conducting compliance reviews and regulatory risk assessments.
• Preparing compliance training programmes for clients.
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory updates and reporting on them.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in law or sharia from an accredited university.
• Experience in compliance, governance or regulatory oversight.
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations relevant to the sectors the firm serves.
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• A recognised professional certificate in governance or compliance is a plus.
